Welcome — I’m Carrie, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I began quilting as a college student, piecing my first quilt in a dorm room and finishing it on my parents’ living room floor over winter break. I never imagined that one project would grow into what Lifting Limits Quilting is today.

Over the years, quilting has become both a creative outlet and a discipline — a practice that engages my eye for design and my love of structure. It has stretched my patience, sharpened my precision, and continually reminded me that skill grows with intention.

I’ve made quilts using a wide range of techniques — some ambitious, some simple, all part of the learning process. I’ve gifted them, donated them, stacked more than a few at the foot of a bed, and shared them with people I love. Along the way, I’ve connected with generous, talented quilters around the world and learned alongside them.

Lifting Limits Quilting was built on a simple belief: you are more capable than you think.

I design thoughtfully structured quilt patterns that combine beautiful construction with steady skill-building. My goal is to provide clear instruction and supportive guidance so you can grow more confident with every project.

Quilting isn’t about perfection. It’s about growth. Each new quilt builds clarity, precision, and trust in your own hands.

Here, you’ll find patterns designed to support that growth — clear instruction, intentional structure, and room to stretch your skills in a way that feels steady and achievable.

Create beautifully. Craft confidently.

I’m honored to be part of your quilting journey.
